So Abram was born at 8:35 pm.  He weighed in at 8 lbs 1 oz.  He had a fat head of 37 cm which I guess is bigger than average.  He was overcooked.  They pegged his due date for the 24th.  He was having some  troubles getting his blood flowing at first, but with great doctors and nurses he maintained good oxygen levels until they were able to give him an IV to replenish his liquids.

Melissa was amazing the whole time.  She did have to get started on pitosen, but this time she waited for the pit till after the epidural.

This guy was still not in a hurry.  After pushing for about an hour and a half, Dr. Dowdle just wasn't pleased with the progress.  He talked us into the vacuum.  With that it was only about five minutes.

Can I just say MIRACLE!

Well the doctor was as patient as possible. We started the pit.

So, doctor Dowdle is a little more patient this time. He told Melissa
as long as the baby gets here by 10 pm he will wait on the pitosen.
